Like most campus/community radio stations across Canada, CFUR gets a lot of music in the mail, but has a limited space to store it – so it’s
important to follow these simple instructions to avoid having your music end up in the discard pile.
Make sure you send an EP or a Full Length CD. No singles or MP3s (though hosts of individual shows may not mind if you send them MP3s).
Include a SHORT bio, no novels please. A glossy promotional package
filled with photos and newspaper clippings may seem like a great idea,
but that stuff usually ends up in the trash. Let the music speak for
itself.
Do send stickers, buttons, posters, etc, if you have them.
Don’t get people to contact CFUR with requests for your song as if they
are CFUR listeners. It’s really annoying, and obvious.
