As long as everything is running well, you can listen to CFUR live on the web twenty-four hours a day. There are a few ways you can do this:
In your web browser:
If you’d like to listen to CFUR in your web browser, we have that option.
Simply click here to open our Windows Media streaming audio player or here for the Quicktime streaming audio player. Or you can use the Shoutcast Player.
Windows Media Player | Quicktime | Shoutcast Player
Using a desktop media player:
You can also listen to CFUR using a desktop media player like iTunes, VLC Media Player, WinAmp, or whatever other program you like. Simply connect to one of these two streams in the player, or download the links and double-click:

ustream
We’ve introduced a new means to listen to a quality stream online: a live stream directly from our main studio.
At the moment, we’re using the free ustream program, which is free by virtue of being ad-supported. This means you’ll have to deal with a short ad when you first start the stream, but after that you get a high-quality, live audio stream of all our CFUR programs.
A note on using your browser:
We have built our media players to work with Windows Media Player or Quicktime. You must have compatible software in order for these to work– it’s usually pretty standard, but some computers don’t have them. Here are some links to help you out:
To download Windows Media Player, click here.
Mac users wishing to use Windows Media Player are advised to look into the Flip4Mac WMV plug-in.
Quicktime can be installed here.
