Homemade Pasta - Saucy Spicey Songs love sausage this week for Supper

Homemade pasta! This is real. Paired with saucy spicy sausage sauce and love setting songs you can wine and dine or pine or hope and wish or experience with your lover and or do all and dance away too! 20160301_184529

Homemade pasta:

4 cups of flour

4 eggs

1 tbs oil

1tsp salt

  • pour flour in a big bowl. add salt
  • make a well in the middle
  • mix eggs and oil with a fork. slowly start incorporating flour and stir into a ball
  • once a ball has formed, let go of the flour that didn't make it into the ball. wasn't right for you anyway. start kneeding you dough. do for 10 minutes
  • Let dough sit for 30 minutes
  • roll out reallll thing. cut into shapes
  • boil for 2 minutes in salty rapidly boiling water
  • add fresh pasta to your sauce yum

For the Spicey Sausage Sauce

1 package of Italian sausage (hot or mild. be warned hot is pretty hot sometimes)

3 cloves of garlic

oil

chili flakes ( a dash for mild, increase by 1/2 tsp for spiceyness increments)

2 cans of whole tomatoes

1 red bell pepper (optional)

  • Heat a sauce pan with a splash of oil over medium heat
  • add sausages whole
  • fry for a couple minutes on each side
  • remove from pot. cut into bite sized peices
  • put back into pot.add garlic and red pepper and chili flakes
  • add canned tomatoes. If using whole tomatoes, squish with hands
  • Bring to a simmer. Simmer for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours on very low.
