our Board of directors

Kristen Kieta - Treasurer

“Joining the CFUR board has been a real joy not only because of the rad people and rad shows, but because it makes me feel like part of this community radio station's unique and awesome community. Radio listening is unabashed joy, and CFUR is a big part of that in the ever blossoming PG music community. I’m proud to be a board member!” - Kristen Kieta

Karl Domes - Community Member, Board of Directors

“CFUR was the first community that found me when I moved back to Prince George in my late 20s. They quickly pulled me into an amazing group of people dedicated to local music, arts, and culture and introduced me to a side of this town I had never known. It is organizations like CFUR that are the heartbeat of Prince George, and I'm honoured to be a part of lifting up and sharing the remarkable culture that thrives here in northern BC. The importance of local, independent media has never been more apparent, and being a board member is a way I can help contribute to this essential form of connection.”

Ahmad Jalil - UNBC Student Representative, Board of Directors

“I love being part of CFUR because having a radio station that bridges the university and the wider community is such an incredible way to connect people and ideas. It creates a space for local voices, creativity, and collaboration to thrive. Being involved with Over the Edge makes it even more special—combining the power of radio with the reach of the student newspaper is an amazing way to engage with both campus and community life. It’s so rewarding to contribute to something that amplifies stories, perspectives, and connections for everyone.”

Michael Watson – President

“I enjoy being involved with CFUR because I believe the local music scene is outstanding! CFUR has been a big supporter of local art, artists, bands, music and other local streams such as journalism. This is a way for me to give back to CFUR, which has given me enjoyment, entertainment, education and support over the years. I hope my efforts and support will continue the cycle over time.” - Michael Watson

Caitlin Gammer - Financial Committee, Community Member

‘I love being a part of an organization that has supported, and continues to support, local talent and events in my community.’

Angela Kehler (she/her) - Community Member, Board of Directors

“I've been a listener and supporter of CFUR for many years and have always been impressed by the creativity and hard work that goes into broadcasting the wide variety of local content. Now, more than ever, we need to build connections and trust in local media in our community and I'm looking forward to being part of this important work. And the music rocks!”
