A few things happened in 2015, right at the end, Leftöver Crack released a new album! Who knew? Many relics were unearthed (The Flying Lizards) and the Polaris prize was awarded to Buffy Sainte Marie! Though I reckon if it had existed 40 years ago she probably would have won it then as well. 2015 was a whirlwind, just like this show, bittersweet and a headrush to the heart. Mine swelled and then deflated a few times. These tracks made up some of the soundscape last year. More to follow next week ;) [embed]https://www.mixcloud.com/HubcapWalter/ether-in-the-attic-episode-110-2015-ran-way-20160118/[/embed]

New Year's Sleaze with Bad Not Cheap
My theme for this week of January is New Year's Sleaze! You can still have a new year without resolutions. I share stories about having my car broken into, receiving care packages, and trying really hard to stay beautiful. I also am making a guest appearance on Edmonton's CJSR this week. Tune into Adamant Eve on Friday January 15th at 5:30pm to hear me read my poetry and talk about feminism, sexuality, and growing up all wrong.

A Riot Grrrl Love Letter To Local and BC Music
Hey sweet darlin' CFUR fans, It's no secret that this particular Riot Grrrl is in love with her scene here in Northern BC. This past summer I was lucky enough to attend several festivals in BC and like the years before they made me an even bigger fan than I was before.
I figured I would start off 2016 with a bunch of songs about love - love for music, and for people. New love, lust, old loves, true love, and the end of love, which always has something good in it if you look for it. My one true love is music, and my local scene, which has never failed to fill me up.
So enjoy my friends, and love freely.
yours truly,
Riot Grrrl #1
