Wildfire Evacuee Comedy Fundraiser
Tomorrow, on July 28th come and laugh it up! Forget your worries and take in a night of comedy and music at Artspace.
The comedic talents of Jon White, Virginia O'Dine and Brian Majore will be featured along with the musical talents of Marcel Gagnon, Raghu Lokanathan, Amanda Morgan and more.
Ticket price is $20, and evacuees get in free for this all age event. There will also be food and drinks sold at the cash bar.
All donations go the the local Salvation Army, helping to feed the evacuees! Don't miss out on this night that won't fail to make you laugh.

Big Squeeze 2017
Whats better than lemonade? How about lemonade that will support multiple mentoring programs within our community?
The Big Squeeze is a fun day that allows for some friendly competition between businesses as teams that have registered set up their lemonade stand to sell their "secret recipe lemonade" by donation to the community.
This event was created by Big Brothers Big Sisters in 2013 and has exploded! There are over 20 teams spread around Prince George, competing to sell the most lemonade or have the best tasting recipe.
On August 2nd make sure to find your favourite businesses' stand and grab some lemonade!
Athabasca Barnburner
This Thursday head over to Nancy O's to check out Athabasca Barnburner, a band thats not quite rock and not quite folk.
This ‘of old’ trio’s live performance is unforgettable. Inasmuch the unpredictable antics and energy of their frontman embodies a folk Jim Morrison
They turn every dance floor into a full on hootenanny by singings songs of the bible, the bottle, and everything in-between.
There is $5 cover charge and the party starts at 8:30pm
Nice Verdes
Tomorrow, July 25th, you can take in the well-traveled tunes of Nice Verdes at Nancy O's. They have been performing since 2003 have extensively toured Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Europe and Guatemala. Nice Verdes are always on some kind of adventure in search of new inspiration and have studied music along with dance in Cuba, India, West Africa and Colombia. From hiking mountains in the Andes, to gardening in the Mediterranean, or living without electricity in West Africa, Nice Verdes is always after something new.
The music of Nice Verdes is uplifting and sunny original indie world. Inspired by the music’s of the world, they play combinations of Cuban tres, accordions, ukulele, guitar, harmonica and vocals.
This performance has a $5 cover fee and will start at 8pm.

Music on the Mountain
The old cliche “last but not least” most definitely rings true for Music on the Mountain Festival. MoM Fest is one of the last Northern BC festivals of the season and is sure to be a great way to end the summer.
You can check it out from August 18 to the 20 near Fort St James on Stuart Lake, with the lineup including : Carolyn Mark, Doug Koyama, Samson’s Delilah, and Gabriel Palatchi Band .
If you purchase tickets before July 31st a weekend pass goes for $80, and those 12 and under get in for free

Brock Paciejewski Live at the Oakroom
Brock Paciejewski is a local singer-song writer who will be performing at the Oakroom on July 28th from 8pm to 10pm.
Paciejewski finds musical inspiration from a wide range of artists such as Corb Lund, the Avett Brothers and the Red Hot Chili Peppers with his songs containing elements of folk, country, bluegrass, and rock.
You will be treated to a mix of original songs as well as covers from some of his favourite musicians. Sit back, relax with a cold drink, and hear some stories that were inspired by life growing up in northern BC.
