CFUR launches access to affordable recording for local musicians!
With support from Creative BC and in partnership with Swamp Dog Productions, CFUR 88.7fm took a step towards opening up our recording studio capacities to local and regional musicians on a budget! CFUR staff spent 2 weeks this summer completing training with a local sound engineer on our studio equipment, audio software, and other aspects of the recording process. This Summer 2019 CFUR is taking applications for some CONFIRMED summer jobs. We are hiring for 5 positions.
According to the grant's parameters, we can only hire an individual who:
(a) is between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment;
(b) is a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident, or person on whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act*; and
(c) is legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial / territorial legislation and regulations.
*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
