For the month of February CFUR is happy to announce that the Black History Month specials of ‘The Grapevine with Senator Don Oliver’ from 99.3 County FM in Pickering Ontario will be in syndication and available on 88.7 FM.

Senator Oliver’s guests include George Elliott Clarke, poet, playwright and literary critic and Canada’s Poet Laureate, 2016-2017; Tiffany Callender, co-founder and CEO of the Federation of African Canadian Economics (FACE); The Honourable Mayann Francis who served as the 31st Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia; Greg Fergus, MP for Hull-Aylmer and Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister. A highlight of the series is a profile of Portia White, aunt to Oliver and great-aunt to George Elliott Clarke.
