Naomi Shore has just released her sophomore album ‘Stability’ which, she has half jokingly categorized as Self Help Songs.
Over the last three years, Shore has overcome her pandemic fueled identity crisis and broken through her creative insecurities to record and release a brand new record. Naomi has said that these songs were written during some very challenging times over the last few years. “Most of the lyrics on this album started as little affirmations, I was repeating to myself just to get through. I can’t speak for all artists but I know a lot of us really struggled with our sense of purpose and belonging when Covid shut everything down. Songwriting is the way I process my lived experience. It is how I find connection and validation. All I can hope for is that these songs will help someone, anyone, feel seen and understood.”
Naomi Shore will be heading south from Fort St. John on a few small tours this spring and summer, you can follow her on all social media platforms @ NaomiShoreMusic to see the growing list of tour dates and keep up to date with her.
