Prince George Animal Shelter Contract Shifts From BCSPCA to PG Humane Society

The BCSPCA has operated the city of Prince George’s animal shelter contract for decades, but when the contract had to be opened up for bids, the Prince George Humane Society won the contract to do this challenging work. Ultimately the BCSPCA must move its operations to a different location while the Prince George Humane Society carries out the obligations of the contract starting January 1st 2025.
