Three performers are coming together on August 1st at Nancy O’s. Wax Mannequin is teaming up with Scott Dunbar and Jeremy Stewart to create a performance that should not be missed
Wax Mannequin is a well-travelled folk phenomenon who has had countless live performances at venues and festivals. His style has been described as "a hybrid of Bruce Cockburn and Frank Zappa" and through his music his influence seeps into the poetic heart of this country.
Scott Dunbar is a one man band who started his career by busking in the streets of Montréal. He is a singer who accompanies himself with accordion, guitar, and a wide variety of eclectic percussion pieces. Everything from a suitcase to a rusted chain is used to create his signature sound that is unmistakable and has captivated audiences both live and online.
Jeremy Stewart is a poet, musician, and community arts organizer. On top of being an integral part of the Prince George Arts community he has performed at music festivals all over BC with his band The Cottonweeds, toured Canada with his rock band Jeremy Stewart & the Rest, and toured as lead guitarist with Juno nominee Marcel Gagnon.
It is only $10 to check out all three of these performers, and the show starts at 8PM.
