Bagels are coming to UNBC campus in Prince George through Degrees Coffee Co., the Student Union (NUGSS) owned and operated cafe. Degrees, as it’s commonly known, remains competitive despite having difficulty procuring a replacement espresso machine for its secondary location on the south end of campus. The cafe has begun to make food in-house, instead of relying on third-party providers.
Degree’s grander ambition this year is to bring affordable bagels to campus. This snack item has been missing from UNBC’s diet since Tim Horton’s was replaced with the Good Earth Cafe in 2022, but is now available at both Degrees Coffee locations. CFURadio caught up with Manager Ryan Adamcewicz at the recently opened Northern Undergraduate Student Center (NUSC Building 6) location where he filled us in and topped us up.
