A young adult with a perspective brought about from growing up in the City of Prince George, pursuing carpentry skills at the College of New Caledonia, navigating the Covid-19 pandemic and earning a retail store wage, Zachariah Olson is seeking a brighter future for youth and the community by working as our city’s Mayor.
Olson spoke with CFURadio and kept to our 15 minute time limit while answering questions that were brought about upon examining his platform, and prioritized through our audience survey.
He hopes others value the role the municipality could play in fostering social connections for people, and want to put that perspective in the City of Prince George’s Mayoral office. October 17th, 2026 is the General Voting Day for our Municipal Elections.
In collaboration with CFIS 93.1FM, CFURadio 88.7FM held an All Candidates Forum for Mayoral and Council candidates the evening of Thursday October 8th, 2026. The forum is posted on www.cfur.ca and available on FrequencyNews.ca.
CFURadio is striving to conduct, and share, interviews with every City Council & Mayoral candidate running in the City of Prince George’s 2026 Municipal Election.
