Alternative underground zine, v0id, celebrates two year publication anniversary

No File

A local college student’s exploration into black metal inspired art, and an interest in the Prince George–Lheidli T’enneh music scene, became a consistently published zine known as v0id which celebrates its second anniversary this April 2026. Emerging from a dark time in which live music saw them through to the other side, Zophia Mushumanski wanted to support the scene which helped heal them. Independently producing the zine accomplished this by becoming a local touchpoint, sharing local visual art, poetry, interviews, performance schedules and expression of all kinds.

Mushumanski accepts donations & encourages volunteers to support the project, but feels strongly that the zine should remain a no-cost accessible alternative to digital options, and free of AI as much as possible. Though present on social media, hard copies are distributed to various venues & alternative locations where they don’t stick around for long as Mushumanski exclaims, “It’s like you guys are crazy for it, and it's amazing!”
