Couple returns to Prince George and brings superstar talent, Steve Aoki with them

After leaving town years ago to cut their teeth in the music industry, Darnell Toth and Jessica Speziale of Toth Entertainment gained experience and followed their passions again, back to Prince George–Lheidli T’enneh, to make it their home and use their knowledge in event promotion bringing big acts to town. Their first of hopefully many large endeavours is booking internationally renowned DJ Steve Aoki to the CN Centre, with machinations of turning the venue into a temporary megaclub. Pulling an all-ages spectacle like this off requires a number of stars to align. This includes determining whether an act is already travelling into Western Canada, local venue availability, competition from other events, production company capacity, and selling Prince George as a serious tour date to an artist’s team. One challenge ubiquitous to many local events is our reputation as a last-minute town when it comes to ticket sales. This can have the effect of reducing an event planner’s confidence. The company is taking a risk to challenge that last-minute notion utilizing tiered pricing, where ticket prices progressively increase as the event date draws near. Toth says, “it’s not only about doing an event. It’s trying to change the perception of how Prince George purchases tickets and what kind of events can come here.”

Feeling confident, Toth Entertainment isn’t certain what their next event will be, but their ears are held to the ground for the next opportunity. Until then Steve Aoki will be performing with Rumpus, Phat Funk and Sofboi on Sunday July 5th, 2026.
