FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, ESCAPE THE FATE, MISS MAY I

There was no shortage of Metalheads at the 94Xplosion on Sept 25, 2013 at the CN Centre. As a Metalhead myself, it's great to see this kind of genre supported as much as it is here in Prince George.

Moshing and Metal Horns \m/ in the air was a common theme that night!

I arrived just before the ‘Miss May I’ set, and am glad I did, because it was not what I expected, but in a good way. They took the stage to a powerful crowd and I realized, "Hey, this band has more fans than I thought here in PG." After asking around, they were definitely a band to watch for and a hit with the younger generation of fans.

MISS MAY I!

Escape The Fate followed and I gotta say, they put on a great show and had the crowd pumped!

Then it was time for Five Finger Death Punch to liven up the audience again. Say what you will about them, they BRING it during their live performance; hands down!

There were a few security issues. The singer actually threatened to walk off stage over it, but that was immediately rectified and - after a few Moshpit lessons  - The band played on... Performing Songs off of their current release ‘The Wrong Side Of Heaven, The Righteous Side Of Hell', also classics, and some newer stuff. They had the crowd singing along to their heavy anthems. They also played their version of Bad Company’s 'Bad Company' and the fans went wild!

All in all a great Metal show and we hope to see more of these shows here in PG.

Stay Metal, and Turn it up LOUD.
