CFUR Studios had an exciting treat yesterday: we were paid a visit to our live studio by Canadian country legend, Gary Fjellgaard. Gary is a member of the BC Country Music Hall of Fame, he's won Male Vocalist of the Year at the Junos, the CCMAs, the BCCMAs, and Country Music News. Mr. Fjellgaard has also won several humanitarian awards for his work with environmental initiatives and for his song, "I Apologize", dedicated to survivors of residential schools. Gary is a frequent collaborator with Canadian legend, Valdy. He and his wife, Lynn, are celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary this summer, and his love for her shines throughout his songs. We were honoured and privileged to listen to his beautiful songwriting and touching vibratto.
