Randall Heppner’s Exhibition is happening on August the 3rd at Omineca Arts Centre! Join for some refreshments and conversation with the artist from 6pm till 8pm.

The Ahbau Series Collection is a stunning collection of artworks by landscape and wildlife scenery artist Randall Heppner, based in Prince George, BC. The collection draws inspiration from the picturesque Ahbau Mountains and its surrounding landscape. Randall employs various mediums such as oil, watercolor, pastel, and charcoal on canvas to bring his artistic visions to life.

Event - Opera Returns to Prince George with Fraser Lyric Opera!

The art of opera returns to Prince George with a performance called Divas and Divos by Fraser Lyric Opera! This will be their first performance back since 2019! Featuring Fraser Lyric Opera’s artistic producer Melanie Nicol as mezzo-soprano, Jason Cook (who performed with the Prince George Symphony Orchestra in November) as a baritone, along with a group of local students who completed a week long opera camp.

The performance takes place this Saturday July 15th at 7PM at the Knox Performance Space. Tickets available at the door for $25.

Event - Big Trees of the Inland Temperate Forests of BC

Prince George, BC - Join Conservation North on Wednesday, July 12th at 6:00 pm at the Omineca Arts Centre for an evening with Terry Nelson as he discusses his book Big Trees of the Inland Temperate Forests of British Columbia.

Ian at CFURadio caught up with Jeremy Pahl on the release of his new album, G̱al'üünx Wil Lu Holtga Liimi. Written entirely in the Ts'msyen language Sm'algyax, it features blistering guitar solos, rooty roots, and a familiar dose of good humour present in Pahl's releases to date. Jeremy also touched on the beautiful luck of performing alongside Willie Thrasher at our local National Indigenous People's Day celebration this past June.
