What’s it all about??
A funding drive is necessary for the continual operation of many community based organizations. Community-Campus radio is no exception.
We hope this will be one of many Radiothons, and an anchor point in a future of financial security. This year, 100% of funds raised during CFURadiothon will go towards two projects that we’ve identified as priorities: funding a new Program Director position (currently held by our Station Manager, Genevieve) & raising funds towards securing a backup transmitter!

Would you like to become a CFUR Radio Society member? Our Community Membership fee costs $25.00 Every membership comes up for renewal September 1st, each year. If you become a member during the October 2024 Radiothon, you may renew as of September 1st 2025. That’s 10 full months to access our services.

Tax Receipts & Monthly Pledges
If you’re interested in Donating $10 or more, a charitable tax receipt can be provided if the donation is allocated to UNBC, care of CFUR Radio Society. (Heads up though, we can’t give you a gift, sorry those are the rules. But we can recognize you!) This method also allows for monthly pledges if you would like to pay incrementally each month. We can walk you through this.
If paying by credit card, please visit unbcgiving.ca to process your donation and receipt online. Instructions (with a video) are posted on cfur.ca/donate
OR please call us at 778-693-2387 Ext.5 and we will fill in this form for you on our end. To process on your own, you must print the form posted below, fill it in, and submit to UNBC’s Office of University Advancement, OR to CFUR. Scanned forms can be submitted to stationmanager@cfur.ca, then submitted on your behalf. Copies are available at the CFUR office as well if you would like to pick one up, or have one mailed to you.
If paying by cheque, it must be made out to: UNBC - Care of CFUR Radio Society. This is to be written in the “Pay To The Order Of” line. See the example image below.
