Rae Spoon is an award-winning Canadian musician, songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist and author who has eight solo albums that incorporate genres such as indie rock, folk, and electronic.
They have performed in everything from smaller house concerts to huge theatres, and are making their next stop in Prince George, at the Omineca Arts Centre on July 29th. Spoon’s lyrics involve moving themes of trauma and self preservation mixed with ideas of hope and survival. Underneath, their music uses both organic and digital beats, from analogue synthesizers to the cello, to carry the music through pop refrains and danceable beats.
Doors open at 8pm with the show itself starting at 9pm. Tickets are $20.
