Not only is it Canada's 150th anniversary, but it is also the 50th anniversary of the Canada Games, and to celebrate this the Canada Games flag is traveling to all the communities that have hosted the event in the past.
As the latest host of the Canada Games, Prince George is the last stop for the Canada Games Flag Relay Party before its final destination of Winnipeg, Manitoba , the host of the 2017 Canada Summer Games, on July 28th.
There will be much live entertainment and food vendors from 11am to 2pm. Official dignitaries and VIP athletes will also be in attendance.
Arrive early to attend another party; the Zumba in the Plaza dance party starts one hour before this event.
