Here are a few note-worthy videos kickin' around on the YouTube these days. Disclaimer: CFUR Radio cannot be held liable if you end up 3.5 hours deep in clips of American newscasters being edited to rap Gin & Juice, or whatever.

Golden Days — Whitney

One cold winter in Chicago, IL, Julien Ehrlich of Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Max Kakacek of Smith Westerns got together and wrote some songs.  The resulting sound could be described as dreamy folk littered with elements of indie pop-rock, or something along those lines.  Hear for yourself on their bandcamp page, on YouTube, or live in Vancouver on April 26 at the Biltmore.

P.S. Whitney's first LP is set to be released June 3, 2016 !!

Everytime x Twin Peaks Theme — Britney Spears x Angelo Baladamenti

Someone on Tumblr put the vocal track to Britney Spears' Everytime (2003) over the Twin Peaks theme song (1990).  It is beautiful and haunting and everything I could have asked for from the internet.

Andy Shauf — Jenny Come Home | A Take Away Show

La Blogothèque's Take Away Shows are always time well-wasted, and this show of Andy Shauf's in particular is nice.  A pie chart illustrating the niceness of it would show a medium-sized slice entitled "warm, sunny, Parisian spring vibes," a smaller slice for "breezy editing," and a big slice dedicated to "Andy's prairie boy accent."
