Bridge Duty- A CFUR Mini Series

IMG_6424.jpg

Bridge Duty first aired in January of 2016, and brought many stories of indigenous sovereignty from across Turtle Island to CFUR’s wavelengths. A year later, many people are still asking about it, along with the many perspectives, and voices contained within the mini-series. This is why every episode of Bridge Duty will be released on mixcloud over the next two months or so. There will a new episode uploaded every Monday and Friday, each one highlighting an issue, and features numerous different interviews.

Take a listen to the latest episode here, and make sure to catch the rest on mixcloud!

Hello dear audience, there's so many ways to say it, but please bear with us while we rectify an issue presumably caused by relentless spring wind. We are working to bring our terrestrial broadcast back to its former glory on 88.7FM. It's predicted to be up and running by Friday morning, 28 April 2017. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Until then, tune in to our online feed right here on www.cfur.ca

On the bright side, we could be dealing with relentless Winter wind!

This Is Britt A.M., Episode 45, Love Songs and A Lil' Chat With Mia Rushton & Eric Moschopedis

nye.jpg

This week, I had the good fortune of talking to Mia Rushton and Eric Moschopedis, February's artists-in-residence at The Neighbourhood Time Exchange (Find out more HERE). Also, it's Valentine's Day (ugh), so I thought I'd play some love songs that aren't too gross and sappy. The playlist is rounded out with funky tunes you can groove to, and some rock songs about breakups.
